Welcome Card
Inspired by my Original Design, the Fidelity marketing team created this card. |

Contact Center
I work at Fidelity Bank in the contact center. I had informed my managers I did graphic design on the side. They asked me to help design the binder covers for new hire's training manuals and a Welcome card.
I am so grateful for the opportunity because I was able to work with Fidelity Bank's amazing marketing department to complete the Welcome Card. They are actually using these materials in the Contact Center today.

Not just Design
When given the project to design the Welcome card they did not give me any script or any illustrations. So I came up with the scripting of the card as well as the layout. I also did the illustration myself.
"So, Welcome to the contact center.
We are honored to have you as part of the team". That is the script I came up with. To create a sense of belonging for the new hires.
A Reality
I did not know if they were actually going to use my Welcome Card. It turns out it wasn't quite ok for them to use my illustration of Bo. The Fidelity Marketing team requires Brand consistency.
So instead they ask me to oversee the final result of the Welcome card that they end up using. So, Anthony McSwain of the Fidelity Marketing Department designed the final card with my assistance, because he wanted to stick with my original concept.
New Hire Handbook
Binder Cover
The Contact Center needs new binder covers for the New Hire training manual.
Contact Center has a saying "You put the Koala in Quality". It's part of our Customer Service program. So I wanted to make it the focal point of the cover, to make it really stand out, I put it on top of red sunrays. Since sun rays are a design element often use in the contact center, using them helps it fit right in with other materials.
Also, they were just going to call it a "Training Manual". But I thought it sound better to go with the "New Hire Handbook". My managers agree that was better and we with it.
